Rocky Run

(From Play)

Here is the place where I see myself staying
Hold onto my face and the clothes I can play in
You gotta keep somethin' for all of the years

No one believes there's a plan to believe in
If you believe, they'll think you might be needing
A kick in the back to remember your fears

No one ever remembers your name
And your friends never seem quite the same
But Rocky Run is beautiful,
And it's the place that I call home

No one can give as well as they can take it
And if you want, you've got reason to fake it
It's only well to pretend to be strong

No one to blame but the one who is blaming
Trying for fame and forgetting the shame in
Looking past hours, been dead all night long

No one ever remembers your name
And your friends never seem quite the same
Yeah, Rocky Run is dangerous,
But it's the only place I know

Let's go out to the sunshine
It's the only place to be
All the second-year forwards
That you can see...

No one ever remembers your name
And your friends never seem quite the same
But Rocky Run is beautiful,
And it's the place that I call home
